This is my second week working as a telemarketer. We sell vacation packages at a really good price. I made two sells my first week, which my boss said was good. But I haven’t made any sells this week yet. I’m afraid they are going to fire me if I don’t get any sells this week. Does anyone have any advise for me?
I had the hardest time finding a Lodge in Alaska when I went there on vacation that would allow me to design my own vacation itenary, instead of being tied to the guides they require and all the activities they dictate. I am very happy with the Salmon Catcher Lodge, which allowed me to design my own activities.

There is this company called Great Escapes that sells memberships that offer wholesale and discounted travel, but you have to pay a lump sum and annual membership fee. Is there any one out there that is a member of Great Escapes? What is your feedback? Is it as good as they make it sound?
I believe this is some sort of a MLM business opportunity. Selling discount vacation packages at discount rates. I would welcome your comments regarding your experience with this company. Should I waste my time or not? Scam or not?
Hey Gerald S. That website you advised me to check out came from Coastal Vacations. I gave your answer a bad rating.
My parents are looking at a time share with this company and are currently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Have you purchased a time share with them and was it worth it (cost wise, availability to get a room, etc.). Would you recommend them or not? Are there any hidden fees? Anything they should be worried about? Please let me know asap. Thanks
My husband and I bought a vacation package last year (the exact same trip we went on for our honeymoon), but we have not had the time to take this vacation.
We have decided to sell it since I am due to give birth any day and we also need the money. It’s a trip to Fort Lauderdale/Orlando Florida and a cruise to the Bahamas. There are lots of activities to choose from and always something fun to do. It was my favorite vacation with the best memories ever.
If you were looking to buy a vacation package, is this something YOU would be interested in?
We bought it for 00, so we’ll probably try to sell it for 00 since we want to sell it in time to purchase things for the new baby.
[[I'm not trying to sell it HERE, but just curious if you think it might sell well.]]
Is there any place that sells a Busch Garden or Orlando Studios vacation package with both the flight and hotel included. I’m trying to book a vacation for my boyfriend and I for either May or June 2009. But, I want to find a package where we will be transported from the airport to the resort without having to rent a car.
Thanks for your help!
A few weeks ago, my husband and I went to our local Sam’s Club to pick up a few things. We were informed that Sam’s Club was having some sort of "Customer Appreciation" thing at the store. They were offering vacation packages for a very cheap. The packages were offered through the Smart Circle. We have never heard of Smart Circle, but since they were selling them at Sam’s Club, we felt that the packages had to be legit. But now, I’m thinking that it’s all too good to be true. What’s the catch?
Has anyone bought such a package at Sam’s Club? And what was your experience?
They had some for Las Vegas, Disneyworld, Spas in Arizona, Local spas, etc. I looked today and didnt see them anymore…does anyone know where I can find them?
If it was a vendor, do you know the name so I can possible look them up online? They had some great deals!!
I’m trying to sell a vacation tour, and if I’m able to sell 8 I get to go for free. It’s for college students, and I’d like to promote one package around my hometown and another at my school, which is far away. I won’t have any trouble promoting the one at school, but what are good ways to get students in my hometown involved? Keep in mind that I want to promote this over the summer, but there are about five different colleges in my area and a lot of students stay local.
I was thinking of setting up a booth in the mall, putting fliers around the different campuses for people taking summer classes, and advertising in the newspaper to tell people when the meeting will be. What are some other good ways to advertise it?
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST BEFORE RESPONDING. Sorry, it’s just that some of the people who answered this are telling me how to market at my own school, which is what I already know how to do.
This is one of the best time shares in Goa with amenities like a restaurant, gym, pool, pub, beauty parlor and cetrally air conditioned apartments.
Someone can’t make it on the vacation so they would like to sell me the package. Is this possible?
It would be like you can’t go on a trip and instead of being out the money you sell me the vacation package and get the names changed.
Can people do that? And will I run into any problems?
Just receive an offer for one of those reduced cost packages from the Omni Hotels, offering me a stay at the Omni Cancun for 9 (of course there’s a tour and sales effort involved). Regardless, in the small print in the bottom it indicates that the package is designed for "married couples between 26-75 of age or single women age 26 and over with incomes over ,000. I’m a single male over 26 years and over k. Can they decline to give the package to me?
I would think there’s a basis for a discrimination claim (not that I would take it that far). These types of packages are solely for the purpose of selling timeshare properties. They can’t legally prohibit one gender or another from buying a property if they meet the income qualifications. Essentially, they’re saying a man with a k income can’t come and look at the property to buy it, but a woman with k can. What would happen if you declined to let a female come and look at the house you have for sale, but you let a male?
I have a 3bedroom, 3 bathroom condo in Freeport, Bahamas that I want to sell. I need information on were to go to sell it.
I won 4 free airplane vouchers and a voucher for a free night in a hotel from Blue Green Resorts. They called and want me to go to a seminar to pick up the tickets. Will they say I have to buy a timeshare to get the tickets? If so, isn’t that illegal?
Recently, I signed on for what seemed to be an excellent vacation package. Two nights stay at a Williamsburg, VA resort w/two adult tickets to Busch Gardens included – all for only . Additionally, they are claiming they will give me two more nights at another time – FREE of charge – to return.
Upon verifying this package, I realized it is a time share selling package. You get this rate – but you have to devote an hour and a half to them dragging you around the resort and attempting to sell you a timeshare in it. There’s no obligation to buy (supposedly) – but you have to at least take the tour and participate to get the rate and return package deal. The return trip doesn’t include the hour and a half tour again.
Has anyone ever done this? Did they make you sign anything? Is putting up with the tour and timeshare selling attempts worth it for the trip or is this a scam that will only inconvenience me and my family on our vacation?
I work for a resort. I make outbound calls to customers in hopes that they will purchase a vacation package. How can i make more sales what techniques or tips can i use to always make a sale and are there any free online courses that can help me overcome objections?
I was dooped into buying this vacation package from Ramada a few months back and have since then been seriously considering buying a timeshare. I was told I can sell my Ramada package on ebay but I have no clue how to!! can someone please answer this question for me?
