Have any tips, suggestion, or stories you can share about selling art online?

Something I’m looking into. If you have experience with this, and have some things you can share, that would be great, whether about online business in general, or more specifically, seling artwork.

set up a website, get a cheep host and try and talk to a web designer about how you can get the best keywords in your sites name, so that when people type in buying art, yours will be nearer the beggining therwise you will hardly be noticed! but then there is word of mouth, newspapers that kind of thing!

i once had an idea of painting in the nude with a webcamera and charging people online to buy my art and to watch me paint haha, lol!

good luck, i hope you find a way of selling your art x x

The first thing I can tell you about selling art online is to make shour you have a picture of it and a titole to match it.
You also would want to tell a Lil about the picture tell why you drew/painted it what it represents and how much you would take for it.
