if you do make your living this way, what do you sell? what tips do you suggest to people new to ebay to make their items sell faster and for a bigger price? any other advice you’d like to share?

my dad makes a living off ebay. he is a jeweller and he makes all his jeewellery by hand, he feeds 2 kids and a wife on that and we live in a very good area, he does pretty damn good for himself!
Tips would be to sell stuff that people want! and sell it at a good pirce!
Just try it out you will never know!
you got to fin something interesting enough to by.
you can live of ebay but it’s not for everybody.

You can find hundreds of products that sell easily on ebay , using salehoo, http://www.salehoowholesalers.com , its a very big wholesalers list you will find cheap brand name products that you can sell very well on ebay there and a prefect guide on how to expand your business profits on ebay

-go to goodwill and other thrift stores and buy furniture and homegoods, fix them up and clean them and then you can sell them for a lot more on ebay.
also, you can get old books, records and cds for pennies and sell a bunch together for $, as well.
buy cheap sell for more, i doubt you are the only one who thought of that tho…
just dont live of ebay and if u half to i say that u need to get goood stuff not some cheap thing every one has

I don’t make a living, but I did just sell an old Hooters banner that I ripped off a fence at a racing event that has been in storage. I started the bid at $15, thinking nobody would want it… and it ended up selling for $75!!
They make a living by buying things super cheap and selling them for more. Or just finding old crap in your basement works, too, like I did!!
