I made a successful sale of my Mystic Dunes timeshare (Orlando) with http://www.sellmytimesharenow.com

Here is the research I did before choosing a company:
I used Google.com and typed in MANY key word BUYER terms (buyer terms like "buy timeshare" "buy (resort name) timeshare" or "buy (resort state) timeshare") to find the company that actual buyers would most likely find first. I wrote down the company url’s and did the following research on the companies I found:

    1. I checked the BBB report on the company
    2. I made them provide traffic and offer reports
    3. I searched online for complaints about the company.

All this took me a couple hours (the final decision took days!)
I also posted on free sites at the same time and recommend you do the same as well.

Timeshares are horrible investments. To be honest with you, if someone will take it off your hands for free I would jump at it.

Don’t pay a sales person any money up front. Only pay a sales person if they are actually able to sell your time share.

    Good luck.

If you can actually find someone to buy it it is the best price.

Try contacting the people you bought it from and see if they will take it back for the balance owed on it.

If you must sell, I would sell it to corporations overseas. You would need to Google that. Don’t pay upfront fees to anyone. Companies would probably give you your asking price because they could get big taxbreaks for them.

I have some bad news for you, you will not like the selling price. Take a look in EBay you will see the reality of the market. But if anybody offers to sell it for you at a big price….. just don’t pay money at front….. let them take their commission off the price after is sold.
