We own a deeded timeshare in Branson Missouri, its a 2 bedroom lockout, pay maintenance fees every other year. Is there a legitiment place out their to sell this? We have been ripped off once already by a timeshare selling place.
A vacation timeshare tour is a form of advertising used by many timeshare resorts to encourage individuals to consider purchasing a timeshare ownership or vacation club membership interest.
Most timeshare tours consist of the minimum 90-minute income presentation of your timeshare location or product sales center, guided by a salesman, an offer you of some sort of snack or meal, and ending with 1 or more salesmen (and typically the income manager) encouraging as well as pressuring for any purchase. The organization sending the guest to the timeshare vacation resort normally receives some kind of referral charge, which has resulted in a big quantity of companies that deliver timeshare tours as an incentive.
Timeshare Exchange is often confused with Timeshare Sales. RCI is in the business of timeshare exchanges. It does not develop or sell timeshares. Customers who buy a timeshare with an RCI-affiliated developer have the option to become a paid member of RCI. Such membership entitles them to exchange (swap) their timeshare with other members. RCI facilitates and fulfills the exchange.Although RCI does not develop or sell timehares, it does sell Points Program to use in the RCI affiliate resorts network. More information about the Points programs that RCI sells can be found on the company’s website. Also Wyndham Worldwide, RCI’s parent company does develop and sell timeshares having several resorts around US which are listed in RCI’s resort directory.
Timeshare companies choose which nations they will accept friends and family from. If married or cohabiting as being a couple, each spouses or partners should attend. Singles are qualified differently. Men have to commonly be married, whilst women can frequently get away with becoming single (and at times they even lower the minimum salary requirement).
It is simply because on the perception that it really is easier to advertise the timeshare to a woman than it can be to a man.
Every resort normally allows one particular tour per year.Commonly a timeshare tour is thrown in as either a bonus or perhaps a necessity for getting some item from a business, usually one particular that is certainly vacation connected. Telephone surveys, vacuum cleaner salesmen, and much more, deliver incentives to buyers who are prepared to listen to them such being a “3 day/ 2 night stay” in Las Vegas, San Francisco, or other popular family vacation destinations. These incentives are, in reality, a commitment to take a timeshare tour.
Vacation businesses leverage their present contracts with timeshare hotels to offer additional competitive getaway deals, this sort of as totally free hotel keep, display tickets, and so forth… These will generally be offered in the type on the “$99 dollar holiday getaway package”, that will involve a a number of evening stay, tickets, and so on using the necessity that the traveler qualify for and bring the timeshare tour. Some timeshare tours can extend nicely beyond the level of time originally quoted for your tour and can include the application of substantial amounts of pressure by several product sales agents. Sometimes, a totally free benefit are going to be denied or delayed until the guest agrees to pay for from your resort, but it is only the situation when the corporation is just not a credible a single.

I made a successful sale of my Mystic Dunes timeshare (Orlando) with http://www.sellmytimesharenow.com
Here is the research I did before choosing a company:
I used Google.com and typed in MANY key word BUYER terms (buyer terms like "buy timeshare" "buy (resort name) timeshare" or "buy (resort state) timeshare") to find the company that actual buyers would most likely find first. I wrote down the company url’s and did the following research on the companies I found:
1. I checked the BBB report on the company
2. I made them provide traffic and offer reports
3. I searched online for complaints about the company.
All this took me a couple hours (the final decision took days!)
I also posted on free sites at the same time and recommend you do the same as well.
….
there are probably a handful of companies that are legit but since I don’t own a timeshare I personally dont know of any
i would suggest you keep searching and finding one that is reputable and before any exchange is done be sure to do a detailed check on that company
I’m sorry to break the news to you, but I do not believe there are any legitimate companies that sell timeshares.
You may want to try eBay.
Good luck.
Yes, there are actually 2 legitimate timeshare sites that I have heard of. You may connect with these companies by calling the management of your timeshare unit or a local timeshare management company and asking for the site names (sorry, the names of the sites are at my office and I am working from home today). I have had good success helping others buy and sell timeshares, and you just need to look very closely at what the site fees are.
The two I am thinking of have a "member fee" that you pay, and a small handling fee for the sale (they review all paperwork and make sure it is correct for the property’s locale).
Good luck~
If you do not have the ability to stay at other resorts within your timeshare system, it will be very difficult to sell for any decent money. Do not ever pay an upfront fee. If they don’t sell it, they still get your fee. Find one that charges a fee only if they are able to sell.
To resale or rent a timeshare is a hard task, the basic rule is not to pay money up-front, don’t be another victim of a scam. There are some free classified adds where you can post it and get some results:
