My mom got talked into purchasing a "discounted vacation" over the phone through a company called Great Vacation Destinations. The trip is a few days in Orlando, FL and then a couple days on a cruise to the Bahamas, followed by a couple more days in Ft Lauderdale. The catch is that you have to go to a timeshare presentation for BlueGreen timeshares. And there are bonus vacations that you can take to Las Vegas and Cancun etc later on.

She now regrets the decision to buy, but has already shelled out a good chunk of money which I don’t think she can get back, so we are going to go check it out. I have heard lots of people’s opinions that all these types of offers are scams, and I would tend to give the same opinion, but is there anyone out there that has actually gone on this vacation with this company and could report on their experiences and/or offer any advice to ensure that the trip is at least a success, even if it’s not the great deal that they sell you on over the phone. Thanks!

They had some for Las Vegas, Disneyworld, Spas in Arizona, Local spas, etc. I looked today and didnt see them anymore…does anyone know where I can find them?
If it was a vendor, do you know the name so I can possible look them up online? They had some great deals!!

Hey, so my mom lives in vancouver went down to las vegas in october and bought a time share at 500 a month. She realized she cannot afford it. How does she go about trying to get rid of it? Please Help…

thanks

It’s located in Atlantic City.
I hear that they are on schedule to build the kinds of themed super casinos, the likes of Las Vegas – with one addition- the Atlantic Ocean in AC.
The time share also has a deed to it and is a studio for 1 week.
The reason that I am including all of this information is to better enlighten for purposes of receiving the best responses as answers and not to solicit.

I just bought a timeshare in Las Vegas and I don’t want anymore because they rip me off. I found this out when I got home by compare the price on the internet.
