Every day Yahoo stock drops another 10 points while Google keeps going up in value.
And in January 2008, watch how fast the Yahoo stock drops in value, due to senate investigations for criminal activities by their staff, and this includes illegal wiretapping and infecting personal computers with Trojans and keyloggers.
Hope you don’t have any shares of stock in Yahoo and if you do, SELL IT QUICKLY before it becomes worthless.
I put in a large volume sell limit order on a particular stock about a month ago and although the stock has hit my limit price numerous times, the order is still not filled. Would I have a better chance of getting the order filled faster if I broke the large order into a set of smaller orders that, combined, equal the volume of my current large order. I would think that execution time will be the same, since I am allowing partial fills. For instance, would a partial fill of 10 out of 100 shares have the same probability of getting executed in a certain period of time than an order where 10 was the total volume? Any insight on this would be helpful.
Thanks a bunch.
I purchased the stock at the a share but it looks like its falling fast and there are reports of people pulling out quickly. Should I stick it out or sell?
and I am not a player who got in on the IPO.

Friday the 26th of Oct. there were 65,000,000. shares of yahoo sold and bought . Many people are looking at this stock at this time its at $ 34.20 Time to buy and hold.
Can I do this regularly as long as I make enough to cover the fees and bring in a profit? Are there additional fees for buying/selling on the same day? Also, I heard these types of fast trades are taxed high. Are there differences between buying and selling on the same day versus buying to hold onto the stock for an extended period of time?
I want to make fast money in shares. I know that proper tactics will fetch fast money in trading shares. I also know that one has to be very careful. I have a online trading account in kotak. I invested about two lakhs fifty thousand rupees. I could gain one lakh twenty thousand within a period of about two months but during the third month I was to sell at loss as such my profit came down to eighty thousand rupees. I got few tips from prasoon dalal Ahmedabad which helped in earning about fifty thousand remaining i earned in purchasing and selling of IFCI , BHEL, UNITECH etc. Can any body guide me about the intraday trading of IFCI and other companies where the gap between the high and low price will be more. some times if I fail to sell on the same day then I have to take the delivery in such cases I cannot sell all the stock on next day only sevnty five percent can be sold and remaining after four days. till then the price may fall. Are there any shares which are good for intra day.
Let’s say you have 100 shares of company XYZ.
You want to place a limit sell order for those 100 shares at .00 a share. The stipulation is that you intend to sell ALL your shares at once.
Limit orders are not guaranteed to be fulfilled if the price drops too fast or there is high volume.
So, are you allowed to post multiple sell orders at cascading prices to make sure your stock is sold?
For example:
Order1: Sell 100 XYZ LIMIT .00
Order2: Sell 100 XYZ LIMIT .00
In hopes of being able to sell the stock between – ?
I could see some potential problems with this, but I cannot find any official information on the topic. A market order is not desired because if the price drops below .00, you might not want to even sell it.
This situation can come about when you original place the order with that being the expected minimal price the stock will hit, but it might fall faster than you plan and need to revise the order (which you can try to cancel, but that involves even more waiting).
Thanks!
I am new to this market and to trading. It appears that with instantaneous news I am at a major disadvantage with regards to upswings that occur for moments at time and are gone until the next time that I don’t get the news fast enough to work with and most of the market declines on a daily basis as I see it. I think I am better and have better odds of picking losers than I do winners. So if I want to make money, it looks like I need to sell short which is actually buying it because I have to allocate money to sell it short because I borrow shares for a price from another investor, right …and then buy when the stock takes enough of a dip that I can make the money back on the way up. Is there a time limit on selling short that you have before you have to buy the shares back or is that indefinite? So for instance I think the shares will go lower than a certain dip, can I wait til I think the stock is at is lowest dip?
Which of the following statements is correct about a stock currently selling for per share that has a 16% expected return and a 10% expected capital appreciation?

D) It is expected to pay in annual dividends.
Is it because they think the deal will not be approved by the bear stearns shareholders. I am confused cos the stock keeps going up….
May be a dumb investment, but most of us cannot afford to buy stocks, seemed like a good time to take a risk with only 0 invested.
They are making a ‘for sale’ list to sell off divisions, repay loan ASAP. Will this help or hurt them on Wall Street? Should I buy more stock? My bills are current, $$ only collecting 3% interest in savings.
All the fallout right now is actually good for us rookies, even Microsoft is in our price range now. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
either 0 or . An option to purchase y units of the stock at time one can be purchased at the cost of cy. Assume that the strike price is 5.
a) what should c be in order for there to be no sure win?
b) If c=4, explain how you can guarantee a sure win
I have some shares of visa stock and today (monday 28th) at 5:00 P.M. they are going to announce how they did for the 2nd quarter. The last few days the stock has been rising at a fast rate probably for that exact reason. When should i sell to maximize profits? also if you know, how long do i have to hold on to a stock to get their dividends?
