A friend- My significant other and I have been together for some time, but now are seeking to go our seperate ways. Together , but now that we are breaking up, I don"t want to give up my share of the property we bought together at a resort as a time share 1 yr ago. Its been listed on a commercial time share site for sale nine months later .
I Want to the time share so I can collect "My money "sell my time share that I have in
FT.Lauderdale, FL.Since six months into the purchace I realized I was over my head I am seeking to use craigs list , but what other way can I sell it?

Does anyone have any experience in the Time Share business? I’m considering moving to Cabo San Lucas to get involved in the Time Share business as a "LINER"…any ADVICE you can share would be appreciated!

i would have to quit a reasonable job here, up sticks and move to Malta – working in what many consider to be an unscrupulous business. has anyone had any experiences of buying and/or selling time-share. would anyone recommend working in the business?

Willing to live with lowered credit rating. But what are the repercussions? I want to walk away from the large contract (which has already been "sold") and never use the time-share. Too late to opt out . Secondly, any suggestions on how to walk away from the yearly maintenance fees that the resort assesses. What happens with that situation?

I sent my resume to a timeshare company called blue green resorts and I just got a call today and they want to hire me. They say that people normally start of earning ,000 a year. And some people if they are good enought earn six figures. So the guy I spoke with basically told me that I had the job. He said that the job would be fun. Im going to be selling timeshares this summer in Myrtle Beach. My friend told me all you do is call people out phonebooks asking them if the want to buy a timeshare. He said you can call 300 people and out of those 300 ppl you called that you might only get 1 or 2 people that actually want to buy a time share. I thought it sounded kinda boring but the money is pretty good for a broke college student like me.I was just wondering if anybody else had an experience selling time shares. Or if you have any advice or anything. Thanks!
The money sounded too good to be true but he assured me that I could really make that much money.
He didnt hire me in person because im in a differnt city from where he is at.

If you purchase a time share and wish to sell it and the only way to do this is to sell it at a loss or give it away, can you claim what you originally paid for the time share, which is deeded, as a loss on Schedule D. The deed has been registered in the state in which the time share is located. We have used the time share for our own use, and have not rented it.

Also can I make the type of money they say I can ?? This is a World renouned company specialisizing in time-share developement–top drawer been in business since 1928 etc…sounds good….is it too good to be true?

It was 9th period and I was TOTALLY tired, well anyway, I had told my best friend (guy) at the beginning of the period the another dude claimed to own my soul, then my best friend said, "No, I own her soul!" and like I walked away so…. fast. Well at the end of the period I put my head on my book and like zoned out. My best friend and his friend were laughing, but I ignored them. Then I like pushed hair from my face, and then I heard, "And look at her now." I looked at them and they laughed. I asked what they were doing and they laughed hysterical. My best friend was like I’m selling a time share of your soul to the other his friend. Then he asked other kids after school. He was like freakin auctioning me and was like, "Come and buy a time share of this lovely piece of property." and my face went red, and he like laughed at me. Then some guy was like "If she’s your property do u go in her." My face went RED and my best friend looked at me and laughed, like a smexy smile on his face!

I just invested in a Time Share with Rangley Lake Resorts and would like to know if it is a good investment or not for me to be in so could you please help me?

I have a time share that we dont use much anymore. I need to find the best way to sell this. Its a beautiful place near town. thanks

We were talked into buying into a trade-around time share, and can’t really use it. We tried to end the contract, but the company refuses, and we keep getting bills and collection threat letters. I feel like I’m a prisoner of this company. Does anyone know of a legal way out, other than selling this off? (Don’t think anyone else would be as gullible as we were, and don’t want to pay someone to sell it, UNLESS they work on pure commission.) Thanks

My parents are looking at a time share with this company and are currently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Have you purchased a time share with them and was it worth it (cost wise, availability to get a room, etc.). Would you recommend them or not? Are there any hidden fees? Anything they should be worried about? Please let me know asap. Thanks

This will be our 2nd trip to cancun, and I remeber last time we were immediatley greeted by the people there selling timeshare. Yeah we get some kind of excursion for a great deal but we have to give them 90 minutes of our time which turns into 8 hours because they try to get you to do time share. But anyways how do we avoid them, better yet how do you avoid them? Btw I saw this on 20/20 too last friday and some of them are scams……:(

Please give me the details of the way you sold your time share. I am interested in selling mine. I would like to pay the fees at the end.

My friend has been trying to sell her time share unit located in Kill Devil Hills, N.C. I’m trying to help her with this but am not sure where to advertise. Can someone suggest the best place to advertise where it would get looks and perhaps a buyer? Thanks for viewing my question.

I have been burned before by web sites that just list the time share and don’t push to sell it. I have also had it listed with a broker for the past year without any results. I just want to get out from under the loan. I want to find a reliable source that can successfully sell the time share as soon as possible.

My in-laws are trying to sell there time share that is in Escondido, Ca.; She has become totally blind and he is suffering from Alzeimers(2nd stage), they have only used it once in the past 5plus years, these two companies have offered to help. One company for no cost(only from the buyer) and the other company a flat 0, and a percentage from the sale itself, has anyone heard of anything from these two companies?

Hey, so my mom lives in vancouver went down to las vegas in october and bought a time share at 500 a month. She realized she cannot afford it. How does she go about trying to get rid of it? Please Help…

thanks

My parents no longer want their timeshare and a yearly maintance fee is coming up soon, is there any way to get rid of the time share, they don’t mind not gaining anything from either donating it or selling it, but just to get rid of it.
The timeshare is located a few miles from disney world as I recall.
If my maintance fee is due soon, would I have to take care of that, or as soon as we submit the donation form, they would be encharge of it?

Anyone have any success selling a time share? I have a Royal Holiday
We have a TimeShare that we’d like to get rid of. The company isn’t giving me any ideas on it.

It’s located in Atlantic City.
I hear that they are on schedule to build the kinds of themed super casinos, the likes of Las Vegas – with one addition- the Atlantic Ocean in AC.
The time share also has a deed to it and is a studio for 1 week.
The reason that I am including all of this information is to better enlighten for purposes of receiving the best responses as answers and not to solicit.

Recently, I signed on for what seemed to be an excellent vacation package. Two nights stay at a Williamsburg, VA resort w/two adult tickets to Busch Gardens included – all for only . Additionally, they are claiming they will give me two more nights at another time – FREE of charge – to return.

Upon verifying this package, I realized it is a time share selling package. You get this rate – but you have to devote an hour and a half to them dragging you around the resort and attempting to sell you a timeshare in it. There’s no obligation to buy (supposedly) – but you have to at least take the tour and participate to get the rate and return package deal. The return trip doesn’t include the hour and a half tour again.

Has anyone ever done this? Did they make you sign anything? Is putting up with the tour and timeshare selling attempts worth it for the trip or is this a scam that will only inconvenience me and my family on our vacation?

Has anyone ever sold a time share and made their money back?
