Question by Christine: How can I get out of my Bluegreen timeshare?
Bought a Bluegreen timeshare with good intentions but haven’t been able to use it at all so the money is being wasted. I would love to sell it, but most companies who say they will list timeshares want to charge ridiculous fees up-front with no guarantee of a sale.
Does anybody know the cheapest and quickest way to get rid of/sell a Bluegreen timeshare?

If there is a mail box or a community bulletin board at your home resort, you can put a “For sale” sign. This will pressure the developer specially if they sell it for ,000 USD and you offer it for ,000. Sometimes on the fine print of some sale agreements says that the developer has the first right to buy if your place is ever sold. I have heard of developers paying the money (as long as is not too much) just to take the sign out.
To resale or rent a timeshare is a hard task, the basic rule is not to pay money up-front, don’t be another victim of a scam.
Unfortunately over 50% of people that really need to sell their timeshare falls for these resale scams where they charge money upfront and less than 10% of them use their only real option which is to post it or offer it trough free advertising options as much and as many sites as they can (it is ok to pay a few dollars to post in a great place but no more that to ).
Timeshares do not have resale value and in most situations you would take a loss in what you paid for, as they resale for less than 00 USD.
There are some free classified where you can post:

Timeshare is written in a natural, easy prose that makes the story and the main character easy to follow. What fascinated me was it’s characterizations of Old Hollywood and it’s light style at developing time travel. No unwieldy paradoxes here, only straight-forward fun. It’s definitely worth reading if you’re in the mood for a heart-warming and interesting laugh, and /especially/ if you’re an old movie buff who likes to read time travel stories. A highly enjoyable read

I have read all three in the Timeshare trilogy and was dumfounded to see that one reviewer give it only a single star – until I noticed the reviewer didn’t even have the guts to be identified.Timeshare (all three of them) is easy reading with perhaps the strongest points being excellent dialog. Dann’s ability to always keep you at the scene is uncanny. This is an wonderful romantic adventure with just the right amount of humor. Dann’s knowledge of WW II is impeccable and comes to full bloom in the third book “A Time for War”. If the main character seems a little overly perfect, what the heck, he’s a 007.

I try to re-read this series a couple times a year. I Googled Joshua Dann and found a web site is the UK that says he is also writing under the name J. D. Austin.

Timeshare is fun, unpredictable and easy to read. Need to escape for a few hours? Want to live through one of your own fantasies? (At one time or another, haven’t we all wanted to turn back the hands of time?) Want some pure enjoyment? Then this is the book. Joshua Dann is obviously a new name in the science fiction world – but I have to believe that his obscurity will be short lived. Timeshare was a pleasure to read. And its great for all ages. Even my 10 and 12 year olds enjoyed it – although some of the nuances of Bogart, Gable and Wayne may have slipped past them.
Read and enjoy!!
