What you’re talking about it market timing. No one can do this perfectly, but I have links to some free market timers on my website.

Right time to buy share is when the Price is X and sell it when it is (X+Y). Make sure Y is large enough so that you make handsome profit.

Well do not treat the stock market as a ticker symbol, think of it as a plce to buy businesses which require you as sleepin partner.
so when a particular business is doing well and a lot of people know abt it, it sells for a higer amount.

look for business with good prospect , good management team and abt whom people do not kow much.
and then give the business some time to grow, that is your ROI.

The best way to time the market is with technical analysis. I would pick up any book by John Murphy or Martin Pring to get you started.

The real "secret" to making technical analysis work is money management. Great books in this area are by Van Tharp amount others.

Be prepared to lose 50 to 60% of the time. However, with sound money management, you can do well.

technical analysis is the best way to go if you want to time the market but depends on your view of the market. eg. if you are contrarian, i.e. buy when everybody is selling and sell when everybody is buying, or warran buffet of buying quality stock and holding until you age… or speculator… so many strategies

the right time to sell? it depends on your goal and strategy…. but don’t be too greedy though.. that’s a common trait of people who lose big in the market…
